One of the coolest things about street art is that you can literally watch the evolution of the artist happen in front of you. Blu, an Italian street artist who has deliberately decide to keep his or her real name a secret (much like Banksy) has been around for about 10 years. Early pieces look a little like how I imagine Shel Silverstein's art would look if he was a street artist who made stop-motion video of his art:
In the past 10 or 11 years though, Blu has become one of the most unique and prolific artists of our time:
